Radio Dishdash Release NZ/Oz Infantry

Radio Dishdash, publishers of the excellent Skirmish Sangin, have released a set of contemporary New Zealand/Australian infantry sculpted by EBob Miniatures. Lovely looking figures, whilst they have been designed for action in Afghanistan, they would be useful for hypothetical battles all around the Pacific.

ColdWar: 1983 is a set of section to platoon level modern wargames rules. Using a friction driven system to simulate the stresses of modern combat and its impact on troops, the game was initially written with a view to playing skirmishes between NATO and WarPac troops in 1980's Europe.

The rules are currently OOP (although a PDF edition is still available through Wargame Vault) and work has commenced on a new expanded edition and plans are being put in place for a series of supplements covering real and hypothetical conflicts from 1950 through to 2015.
